Y’all rock! or should i say roll? Great to see folks casting off the corporate shackles. I think any inspiration to slow down is a good one-my new thing is writing a haiku a day. Got to keep creative juices flowing!

My Thing! (by: Paul - Valencia, CA)

My thing is being mellow in whatever I do. Seeing the 10 mile trailer made me think my life would be way more mellow getting around on a segway! No more gass hoggin cars! I live in a community where everything is just about walking range..but everything is surley in segway range. If everyone got on a bike or something non gass powered, it would be much more relaxed. Taking time to smell the whatever Im walking by..thats my thing!

Segways (by: Anonymous)

It’s to bad so many people just don’t understand what a Segway is all about until they ride one. Any chance I can use my Segway instead of my SUV I take it. I really enjoy it now that gas is over $3.50 per gallon.

Hitting the Road (by: Andrew)

Living in Sydney Australia in 1998, my wife and I were down on our jobs and wanting to head out into the world.

We met for lunch one day and decided enough, we had to take the plunge. By the end of our lunch hour, we had tickets in hand and we set to fly off to North America a couple of weeks later.

Spent the next three months driving the length and breadth of America. The trip changed our lives forever.

If you feel like you’ve had enough, change your location and it may help change your life.

Oh man, they beat me to it. Cross country on a Segway: the open road, the breeze through your hair xxxx helmet; what a life.

I quit!!! (by: Anthony - Memphis, TN)

I think the film is just what the rest of us only wish we had the courouge to do and that is to live. Truly live. I am tired of making excuses of why I shouldn’t be doing what I want. The film eliminates all my excuses to live life.

Moving Out (by: Anonymous)

I’ve been following the film since I first heard about it in another filmmaker’s blog, and I can’t wait to see it!
My most recent ‘thing’ is resigning from my cushy assistant position at a large northeastern lawfirm to move into New York City and manage the office of a small progressive non-profit. I’ve been looking for a job like this since college, but it came up at a really bad time for me. Nonetheless I’m going to give it a try!

Kind of neat to watch the guys go from idea to end product all on a Segway.
