It reminds me of Dumb and Dumber where they ride into Aspen on the scooter frozen together…
We should all be so couragous at least one time in our life. Whether it’s to just have fun or do what we’ve always wanted too. For these guys it was riding a segway coast to coast for you maybe it’s skydiving, running a marathon, giving theater a try, making your marriage work, spending more time with your kids, lend a helping hand, or staring your own business. With risk comes reward, though calculated risks are much smarter.
I liked the film. My thing is to build a website that will help people improve their lives. I enjoy doing it, and others will benefit, and enjoy the results of my work as well.
I am traveling to Paris with my wife soon. Since I recently had a pacemaker installed in my chest/heart I am on restrictions and think renting a segway is a GREAT idea. If it is good as I think I will need one of my own!!

ps: we will be visiting Denver in Sept. for 10 days!
Always always always…. its always on my mind. What if I just left? Just got up grabbed my wife and said… “Honey, were otta here”. Maybe rent an RV and just see that great land of ours that so few of us ever get to know. For now I’ll live my dream through these guys, thank you.
I do computer support at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center and have always been interested in the Segway. Seems like the perfect lunar vehicle if you could keep the batteries from freezing. Imagine jumping Gustav’s crater on one of those bad boys!
I am told by a friend that this movie has an excellent chase scene, as good as in the now classic FX movie. I am a bit skeptical, but it has been in my NetFlix que for a few weeks now. Hope it pans out!
haven’t seen the movie yet but a favorite local band’s website announced being a part of the soundtrack so it’s definitely on my radar to rush out and see when the tour hits boston.
The film is fantastic, since it captures the ‘moment’ of a life everyone can have, while at the same time nailing the perfect escape from that very life. How often do we watch popular cinema simply to see things blow up and the lead characters live lives we only dream about? Granted, 10MPH is not ’special effects’, it’s not ‘blow up the bad guy get the woman’ faire we’re so used to. It’s a story of success and in the ultimate statement, the good guy wins. Call it a tale of redemption, call it what you want; but it’s proof that we can all do what we dream of, even it’s riding a two-wheel scooter across America.
My thing?
To escape from the mundane and forget hurt. The open road calms the mind and frees the spirit.

My thing is pairing craft beer with great food. I fell in love with craft beer when I started to develop my palate in culinary school. Since then I have found a new love for pairing my food creations with quality wine and beer. Check out my site for more info. www.beerpairing.com
