doing the web (by: Tony - San Antonio, TX)

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

Hi, guys and gals,

Just viewed “10 MPH” at the Aztec Theater in downtown San Antonio, Texas, on August 30, 2007.

A real blast!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful, beautiful! Beautiful! Quite a memorable film! And I thoroughly enjoyed sharing space at the Iron Cactus bar afterward with Mary La. . . . . Lovely young lady!

Didn’t Buzz Jellett treat us all to a nice party in the bar!

At 73 years of age, my thing is touring the world on the Internet and putting together many different things on my web site, www.tonysjournal.com. Check it out: photos of the San Antonio river walk, gardens, a pictorial walk through my life, very opinionated pieces about this nation’s often wacky government, etc.

Let’s do it all again. I’m in the act of putting a link to “10 MPH” on my website after I post this.

Would anyone believe I’ve followed Buzz Jellett’s work with Segways since he began in San Antonio. Would anyone believe that I have NEVER even stepped up and onto a Segway? I’m a walker at two mph at most!!!!!! But Segways are a great reality for those who want to be speedier, higher rollers.

Who I am… (by: Bruce - Lansing, IL)

Tuesday, August 28th, 2007

My thing is time. Time with friends, drinks, pets, people. Time at places that make me feel at ease, make my heart race, and make my mind wander. Time to reflect, time to act, time to wait, and time to stop.

I’ve never heard of this film and therefore, have never seen it. ChipotleFan.com sent me an email and here I am.

My thing: biking! Transportation, exercise, recreation, fun! Being car-free was one of the best decisions I ever made. Being part of the solution is easy when it’s fun!

Um, my thing would probably be Chipotle burritos… I could eat 5 of those things, in a row, no breaks, and anyone who wishes to challenge (and pay for) a competition, let me know! Also, I haven’t seen the movie, but I’m sure it’s interesting…

IT, Ginger, segue (by: Antonio - Arroyo Grande, CA)

I first saw it on macromedia.com as the Flash site of the week. Read up, made my 499.00 deposit and recieved it some time 6 months later. Rolled up to the city councle on it, visited the local PD on it, next thing I know the Commander is rolling with the 2005 Handicapped Torch run to Long Beach.
I first saw the wipe out in the driveway on the 10mph trailer, anybody who knows anything about ginger knows how that feels, and to catch it while experinancing the entire northern US. Thats my thoughts on the film.
P.S. Play it again sam, da da dant. whoshhhhhh.
Have a nice Day.

Great to see your movie.
I have been working for a month on our family trip to all 50 U.S. State capitol for Austism Awareness. So many things to learn and to do. We are also starting from zero but now realize that will have to do it wharever it takes.
We hope to also be an inspiration to people out there and to bring the sucess stories and teach about people living with Autism.

I am working to build the web site: www.AcrossAmericaforAutismAwareness.org, but not ready yet. check back.
